Paladin Energy Ltd is an Australia-based independent uranium producer with a 75% ownership of the world-class long life Langer Heinrich Mine (LHM) located in Namibia. The Company also owns a portfolio of uranium exploration and development assets in Canada and Australia. Its segments include Exploration, Namibia and Australia. The LHM is located in central western Namibia approximately 80 kilometers (km) east of Swakopmund and 85 km northeast of the Walvis Bay major deepwater harbor. Its exploration projects include Michelin, Manyingee and Mount Isa. The Company, through its subsidiary Aurora Energy Ltd, holds a 100% interest in over 98,320 hectares of mineral exploration licenses. These are located within the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador, Canada. It has a 100% interest in the Manyingee Project. This project is a sandstone hosted uranium project consisting of 41 Mlb across two deposits. It wholly-owns a project comprised of three promising uranium exploration sites in Queensland.

RE:Buyout a buy out is not going to happen, because the Canadian assets are off limits to China, since China has already been allowed another company Canadian uranium assets and Russians own another Canadian uranium miner. The Malawi government would block attempts too, since they would better trust Australians for ethical treatment of workers and environment concerns, look at how the activists already try to make a big stink about water release that was barely perceptable above background radiation last year.
Also the Australian Government may have a thing or two to add that would block a complete company sale. IMHO no way that further selling off of chunks of mines would happen either. The tsunami that hit Japan was almost 5 years ago and since the company could hang on this long then they and their financial backers are looking at the asset value , and not the present cash flow based value.
They are still selling contract uranium so they have enough cash flow to go threw the rough times.
