I suspect it's because they know they will likely not get an offer that is superior to 0.25 SU by January 4 and are trying to convince investors that it's best to continue on as an independent company and have the SU bid rejected.......Personally, I think the only people who will benefit from the rejection of the SU offer are the COS Board and CEO who will continue to collect their salaries and benefits while shareholders likely take a big hit downward re. the COS share price.....
