The fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of global equities in the materials sector. The fund seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Global 1200 Materials Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of companies that S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC (SPDJI), a subsidiary of S&P Global, Inc., deems to be part of the materials sector of the economy and that SPDJI believes are important to global markets. It is a subset of the S&P Global 1200.

It's Weird

It's WeirdIt looks like the U.S. dollar on a chart has made a double top and the gold chart has made a double bottom...which would seem to be positive for gold...at least in the short term.

John Ing on BNN just said that the average price allotted for gold in the ground worldwide currently is $140 per oz.  I''m not sure I entirely believe that...but it is a lot higher than the $50 we have been pricing MXI's deposits at.
