RE:RE:35 dollar tradeIt looked like someone decided to take a small position in RCK. In order to get any amount of stock they had to buy up to the 7 cent ask. Unfortunately the bid remained at 3.5 therefore another investor wanting to clean out an account at yearend sells and back down it goes.
This illustrates just how fast this stock could rise if, and that's a big "IF", the company ever decides to do something.
I'm not pumping the stock, simply pointing out that the float is low, much of it held by insiders who continue to buy in the open market and on top of that there is very little stock between 3.5 cents and 50 cents.
The only down side is that it is hard to acquire a meaningful amount of shares without having to drive up the price as you buy. I guess any buyer would have to factor in just where they thought the share price was going to go and if they thought anything under 25 cents represented value.
Just some musings to start 2016.
