RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:sales during a recession

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:sales during a recessionThanks for your post and ideas based on your experience with Sysco.  I know NJ is presently only allowing 2 but you may be correct about allowing liscensing of up to 9 locations.

I do k now Massachussetts and Connecticut allow multiple liscense's with Massechussetts expanding the limit from 5 to 9 stores by 2020.

Your also correct about the power that SAP can add to their business.  Once they have SAP in place they can systematically bring on revenue streams through aquisition or new store openings while having full visibility from a central hub.  It's a spoke and hub type frame work that should also push greater margin and earnings growth.

I don't believe the competition have anything close to mimic what LSNA is doing and with a highly fragmented industry they could stand to do very well as they use economies of scale.  The more they can leverage the supply chain and gain advantage by higher volume sales, the increasingly difficult for competitors to offer the same cost advantage.  Most operations are still mom and pop but I believe consolidation in this sector will come to our favour.

Great points by the way on the improvements to margin that SAP can bring.  Very true and with quicker more accoutable inventory turns by having that made visible by SAP it will be the key advantage to becoming increasingly profitable over the coming year as they further build momentum on the 7 point plan.
