Money for Shareholders

Money for ShareholdersEmailed the liquidator late last year in order to decide whether to gift the stock to my broker in order to take the capital loss in 2015.  Their reply:

As it stands the stock no longer trades and will officially be delisted from the TSX on December 31st. Over the next couple of months, we will be selling the assets and liquidating the Company. Once that process is complete, the proceeds will be distributed based on legal priority. If there is any left it will go to shareholders once more senior parties have been paid. Unfortunately we are not able to provide any investment advice, and I would urge you to consult with your broker/financial advisor about if there is an opportunity to benefit from the tax loss.
