It's a big possibility the takeover will not happen on the 8th. Williams will extend the deadline and the longer the deal is on the table the more  "new shareholders" are likely to tender their shares.
Look at how many shares were traded since October? Don't you think that most of those holders that bought after the deal was anounced are more likely to tender them @ .25?
If I were to buy back again today, I would tender them.
Think about it.
