Some thoughts.

Some thoughts.About today's twitter activity!

I was kinda getting disappointed to see them not tweet for so long. Social media and web presence are really big nowadays. Which it seems they may be starting today(I hope anyway) I would love to see them more active day to day. But today's tweeting and social outreach was really well done.

1. This tweet was great because they are starting a conversation and creating a group for the discussion on the perfect network for their goals. Facebook group would not be appropriate here.

Connect and join the conversation on Next Generation tech via our LinkedIn group Next Generation Wifi

2. They posted a recent article about themselves. Creating self promotion.

Edgewater Wireless named Best of the Best for 2015 by thanks

3. This covers point 1 and 2 in one. And adds the outreach to memebers of the community.

...and then there's WiFi3 - multiple channels on one radio - great tweet

4. More outreach and showing a problem that clearly exists.

Interference isn't exclusive to commercial deployments - consumers feel it too! Twitter search

All in all a great day of online marketing for Edgewater. I'm pretty sure they read this board so good job guys! Keep it up, i know you're busy but this is an important aspect.

Here are a few of my ideas for more promotion.

1. Keep the tweeting up. Strategic tweets to memebers of the community like tweet #2 above would be great. Company to company and high level influencers outreach on twitter would be great as well. Without getting spammy. Not all has to be self promotion about wifi3. It can be a conversation about interference or IOT, the industry, the future. Anything helps as youre connecting and promoting the brand while having a conversation.

2. Get back on facebook and become more active! Seriously. You have a page with a decent number  of followers. Use it.

3. Currate some content. You guys have some serious industry knowledge. Start a blog or "educational section" on your webstie. Releasing some articles and having more content online will defintely get more outreach. As we move forth into the IOT world, there are starting to become many more searches into google for terms like 5G, IOT and Internet of Things. This is still a fairly niche market. In comparison to other search terms like "internet" or "web" so it is easier to rank still and content stays relevant longer as something is not posted as often as with a more mainstream term. Nokia does a great job of this on their innovation section: https://networks.nokia.com/innovation/5g

Also....Maybe David or and of you guys here who are constantly in touch with them could forward my ideas/ insights via email.

Cheers.

Long and strong YFI as always!
GLTA
