RE:RE:Loonie below 71 centsWith Vader vanquished it will take some time to rebuild the empire but in the mean time the low F/X rate also represents a huge discount on Nuvo itself. Dropping from .76 to 0.71 means that the cost to buy out Nuvo for a US based enterprise has declined by over 9 %.

The longer the stock price lingers and the closer we get to a ramp-up in ex-US sales (rights, royalties and supply) the more compelling a takeover looks; the falling Canadian dollar just makes it that much more inticing.

At some point the dollar will stop decling at which point hopefully Nuvo will have developed some F/X hedging capability...
