Anxious For Pilot Plant
I know its been mentioned that the Pilot Plant will be online by Q1 of 2016. In my opinion for what its worth, this is the biggest step to de-risking Ucore.
What I think is a big play here in our portable semi-commercial sized MRT plant is the prospect of eventually using the MRT technology in recycling and solving a global problem of excessive e-waste.
On top of this prospect, this MRT has already successfully seperated Bokan ridge REE at more of a bench scale. This shows that the mine's resources only needs to be proven at a commercial level that hasn't been done before on the REE scene.
MRT according to Jim McKenzie is the 'Holy Grail' or seperation processes. "MRT should be environmentally friendly, efficient, and most importantly - highly selective, meaning it is easy to create high purity REE products without repeating the process many times." This convienence and cost-cutting seperation method that MRT provides is something that hasn't been used for REE.

In terms of Profit splitting between Ucore and IBC about it's MRT deal, this is what I take of it from reading articles
Initially it was a 60/40 split. Winner Ucore.
Now Ucore has royalty deals. From what I understand from its press releases, only the latest biggest investment has a permanent 'early MRT installation royalty'. I feel once the mine is up and running, this investors Royalty expires. The other two investors are only getting their slice of the pie on the very first big contract Ucore gets that must exceed 50 Million. The 4.9 Million investor gets 2% of that plus his initial investment back, and the 1 million dollar investor gets .5% of that contract revenue once he gets his investment back.
So it should be at this point
Ucore 55%
Investor 5%
IBC 40%
of 'early MRT installations' revenue.
This is why proving this MRT successfully is a major step if not the biggest step to get their feet off the ground. I really hope this is a successful run.
If it does prove to work successfully as they anticipate it to run, congrats on all shareholders.
Thanks!
