technolgyJust wanted to get some opinions regarding the following. For disclosure I am a shareholder of BNS and it is part of my long term strategy. However, I saw an article on 60 Minutes regarding disruptive technologies to the banking sector. In particular they profile the mpesa system used in Kenya (I believe that is the country where it is being used successfully). Essentially bank branches become obsolete. They went on to say that the banking lobby is working hard to suppress this from reaching Europe and Nth. Am. Not sure if it is something that the banks will just buy and utilize, or if it can wind up challenging them.
