RE:RE:RE:RE:Presentation Update
bxju.....They are actually showing a real seismic (cross-section) line through the basin on page 20. The trace of the seismic line is shown on the inset map on the left. Bati Gurgen isn't on it, because Bati Gurgen isn't on the 2D line that they are plotting. It could be projected on, but that's not the point of the slide. The point is that depending where they are in the basin, they can expect different formations/lithologies to be in the overpressured window. As they learn the stratigraphy of each zone, they will be able to target specific geological features (like coalesced basin floor fans, for example) that will all be charged with gas if the BCGA concept is proven correct. Translation: there is a lot of running room beyond what they are drilling now......................................................... The Banarli licence boundary is on page 16. 100%. Highlighted in yellow...................................................................... As for the other well on the cross section on slide 20, it was probably drilled a looooong time ago, well before anyone even thought of the concept of tight-gas resource plays........................................................................... And lastly, as for the USD/Lira relationship, it's irrelevant. CAD/Lira is what matters as VLE reports in CAD. Again, I'm not overly worried about CAD strength. Currencies can be a headwind, but are typically not a defining force, they are similar to "GA" (General/Administrative expenses) you don't need more people, computers, lawyers, or travel to manage 2,000 boe vs 800.......at least not much........ If you are really worried about the Lira, you should open up a forex account and short some as a hedge................................................................Management doing a great job, let's see what they come up with in the Yayli-1.............I have to get ready for church, Cheers..
