RE:RE:More Liquor Store talk by Uncle Bill....lol...This is absolutely the wrong direction towards selling recreational mj. It is short sighted and limits the availabilty for users. What if people want to buy MJ and dont drink? What about in towns where there is only 1 liquor store or are miles away. I dont want to stand in line with alchoholics waiting to pay for my MJ. What about the type of weed sold and who will be supplying the weed to the liquor stores. CGC,APH, OGI or what. How much MJ will be in stock at any one of the liquor stores? How much will the liquor stores jack the prices up of the MJ? What knowledge will the staff have of the different strains that the suppliers have available. Do the liquor stores have to be approved by Health Canada to sell MJ and how will the liquor stores prove that whatever they sell wont be contaminated during storage of the product.
There is no way that liquor stores will be able to fully implement the potential sales of MJ. Im surpriesed at this point the growers havent put some type of plan themselves to sell MJ independantly or a plan where Health Canada would have cetified dispensaries able to sell products where all producers are included.
This is all at the beginning stages but sellling MJ in liquor stores is NOT the solution.
