EnerDynamic Hybrid Technologies (TSX: V.EHT, Forum)(“EHT”)soared on the boards today after the company announced that it had signed an agreement with Property Inventor AB to supply refugee housing in Sweden using its modular construction technology.
According to the
news release, the supply agreement calls for the delivery of 1,000 new modular hotel units by EHT to Property Inventor over the next 12 months. The deal will result in revenues of $32,000 per unit for an aggregate contract value of $32.0 million. The agreement also requires a 90% payment on shipment of the modules and 10% upon installation. Traders clamoured on board, significantly driving up SP.
Shares were up 53.85%to $0.50 per share. Magor Corporation (TSX: V.MCC, Forum) slipped in the markets today on a high volume of trading. There was no news to back up this shift besides the announcement of quarterly financial results
published in the middle of December.
Investors are hoping that the Canadian Government will continue to sign contracts with the company
which will send the SP on a serious upswing over the coming year. Some speculated that today’s drop was an effort to shake out nervous retailer investors to provide a better deal for their institutional counterparts.
