Becoming a ''Go To'' Chiropractor by Dr James GreggMany people swear by chiro but others and many medical communities believe it is voodoo... there is likely a lot of opportunity for chiro practices to increase revenue by offering more services.
Chiro along with muscle conditioning/healing therapy makes a lot of sense... practices needs to evolve with both efficiency and customer experience to compete in the busy world of today and tmw... a multi-specialty practice in this day and age makes a lot of sense..
"Recognizing that Chiropractors are well positioned to be the primary healthcare provider for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, who can vastly benefit from non-thermal laser therapy for non-drug pain relief, Theralase has partnered with the Canadian Chiropractic Association and became the Social Media Sponsor of the National Convention, which was held in Niagara Falls on September 18th -20th. As part of the sponsorship, Theralase created an “Activity Pod” which featured live laser technology demonstrations, and provided scientific information to help Chiropractors understand the essential considerations when evaluating different laser technologies. Chiropractors across Canada learned about the key differences between a Class 3B and Class 4 laser, how Superpulsed laser at specific wavelengths contribute to treatment efficacy, and the business support that Theralase provides to customers to grow their practice. To further support professional development of chiropractors, Theralase also sponsored a presentation by Dr. James Gregg on Advanced Biomechanics Assessments and Healing Technologies. Feedback from the audience was excellent, which is a big encouragement for us to continue develop a strong partnership"
I've actually noticed in the last 6 months while data mining search engines relevant to Theralase week to week, a lot of chiro clinics updating website copy to include Theralase services... I have to believe their marketing/sales team is doing a good job. It's not the sales I'm even interested in, it's the training, education, networking, complete service that is exciting... they realize the competitive advantage is to market a service, a way of treatment, a brand, an evolution of therapy... not just a cold laser hardware sale. Others like mls cutting edge cls4 808 are worth researching at least for their marketing effort. Eventually someone is going to define and come out on top as the goto therapy/hardware/service/standard of care for pain mangement. People, governments, healthcare providers, insurance are sick of opiods!!
TLT has the right technology and experts to take a good run at becoming something special and imo the current market cap is an attractive entry based on the potential future of their laser division alone.
Anyway, Dr Gregg's CCa presentations from the fall are on youtube for anyone interested, three parts starting part 1. (part 2 and 3 on there as well)

& Followup (similar as cca presentation but powerpoint more visible)... Did you know Tulo recovered so quickly with that shoulder injury last year with Theralase treatment?

Dean of clinical education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College wrote about laser therapy and chiro in this 2008 article (nothing new or spectacular... just observation about timelines and how cold laser is being studied and trying to breakout for a long time now... we're possibly at the turning point where this therapy with properly delivered treatment using fine tuned hardware gains acceptance.. it's been a work in progress for decades.. perhaps TLT can breakthrough.
