RE:Why aren't Tesla shareholders demanding clarity on supply?

RE:Why aren't Tesla shareholders demanding clarity on supply?vessob,I struggle with the same question.

So some people say it is like the chicken or the egg story and what cames first ! I don't buy that story as the giga factory has a 5 billion dollar price tag attached. So the risk is too high just to build it first.

So I am leaning towards the idea that there is a supply deal made, but not announced. Hopefully many supply deals are in place with "confidentiallty agreements" around them. Tesla is then inturn locking up the supply while causing the companies to compete with each other and drive down the product price. Tesla will then know what all of the market has to offer and have a detailed view of all the companies in the industry. Short list them, and then announce who will  be the winner(s) and proceed with them. The balance of the unsuccesful mine providers will need to move on to the other EV producers. However would have shown all of their card to TESLA first.

I suspect that AGC will become a second round supplier and be inline to support the competitors of TESLA. This is not a bad thing as it will allow for added market attention, pent up demand, additional investor interest and a "rush" of EV competitors to secure a deal with AGC

Once a letter of intent is signed AGC will have investors and bankers knocking down the doors.

Timing is critical and we need to keep pressing on.
