Canada gold price within 10% of all time high (mthly close)

Canada gold price within 10% of all time high (mthly close)All of Alexandria`s properties are located in Canada.

The Canadian gold price is currently $1,583 per ounce.

I read that the Canadian gold price is now within 10% of its all time high (monthly close).  I don`t have the exact number handy, but being within 10% would imply the all time high (monthly close) was around CAD $1,760.

The all time high Canadian gold price (daily close) was CAD $1,883.  The current price is only16% from that figure.

In addition, on the cash cost production side, the oil price has become more favourable.  The WTI crude oil price was in the ballpark of CAD $100 per barrel (when the CAD/US currencies were around par).  The oil price is now CAD $43 (US$29.70).  That is a significant decrease.  Fuel is a major input cost for gold production.
