RE:off topic and hope it never happens again skyAgreed Sky hope this does not happen after watching the current movie "The Big Short" it really made me think about what is supporting a 1Trillion mortgage debt in Canada. With commodities
sinking (oil/gas/metals and others) this takes a big bite out of our GDP which directly affects our job market long term.

Manufacturing is suppose to help and lower commodities makes manufacturing cheaper but with a global market it's now harder to compete with emerging markets. What if the lower dollar does
does not increase GDP? 

Healthcare and Clean energy/transport might be the best alternative investments for many retail/institutional investors getting out of the commodities once they realize this commodity slump will continue longer than expected.

just my crazy opinion.
