RE:Dowa Website - my take away

RE:Dowa Website - my take awayThanks D&B and Twiggy for monitoring Dowa's web site. Twiggy's take away from that site is the same as mine after talking to Garfield at the end of last week. Dowa's commitment to Palmer is very strong. Dowa wants to secure 1/2 of their zinc concentrates from their own mines, and they view Palmer as being in this category. They are not fazed by plummeting commodity prices, because if they are loosing money on mining zinc they are making it back from their smelter operations, this  is especially true when the Yen is weak against the $USD as it has been since Abenomics got underway.

However, "He who pays the piper calls the tune" and Dowa's primary focus is resource expansion.  Extending the road by 2 1/2 miles, getting an adit and taking exploration underground is more important to them than drilling new targets like Nunatak, Cap and HG. Dowa may use some of the capitol from their earn in to take the exploration underground. This is good news for shareholders as it confirms that Dowa's commitment is long term, they see a huge opportunity to expand this resource. But what about all those other exciting targets with so much potential to juice the stock price higher? Garfield is just as keen as we are to see drilling commence on some of these targets this year and discussions with Dowa are ongoing at this time to finalise the 2016 exploration program.

I echo Twiggy's "Kudo's to management" for ensuring Palmer's future in this unprecedentedly difficult market for stocks trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. Unfortunately I was unable to access the Smithsonain Video he mentioned. I got a notice saying, "This video contains content from CBS who has blocked it in your country on copyrighting grounds"  Thank you CBS.
