my theoryremaining halted is a good sign that the pending news will be good, either a deal or infringe verdict. It shows 01's confidence in the inevitable outcome. If they anticipate bad news, it would make no sense to request the halt to prevent anyone, especially their families/friends from existing, but it did halt the last possible day of manipulation as we saw at the beginning of the day, which could have pushed the price down to teen's.
Another possibility is there was a deal, and 01 was ready to announce it. Then after they requested the halt, they got a call to delay the announcement. 01 didn't know what ctxs was up to, as they could change mind, so they released a no-news news.
The above is pure speculation. I guess ctxs is put in a box, either pay now or pay more after the verdict.
