RE:ConfusedWhen interest rates start getting slashed (BofC possibly doing it tomorrow - 50-50 chance according to some) and QE becomes the viable alternative to our clearly sinking economy, then gold will no longer be a short-term safe haven, but a long-term safe haven. Then you will start to see some major gains and market correction. You also need to convince the technical traders that gold has become bullish. There are many stubborn shorters who won't budge until there is a technical breakthrough. Lastly, just because gold prices are up does not always correspond to the equities. If investors are pulling their stocks because they are scared, it is possible they are just pulling all of them. Once low/negative interest rates and QE is assured, you'll make the big bucks. So for now patience, later profit.
