RE:RE:RE:Eric nuttle
Granted the destruction of oil and Eric's job as an energy fund manager puts him in a position he can't avoid, I really feel like no one would ever take him seriously at this point. Baytex may work out (certainly doesn't look like it right now, but who knows) but the fact is that it has been a big holding of his all this time when he should have held Suncor or something else equally stable. He still would have been destroyed, but at least he could say he was an energy fund manager and had to own energy, and owned one of the best performers all this time. He could then re-deploy capital at the low, whatever that ends up being. Of course, this is great to say in hindsight - but he's a fund manager, supposedly to be a smart guy that knows more than the rest, so he (of all people) should be held to a high standard with the expectation that he would be more right than everyone else. And in this case, he's been more wrong than almost anyone else. Baytex has been one of the worst performers. Could rebound, or might not, but Eric has been a destroyer of capital for his investors and he should not get out of this with a job IMO.
