By giving Q2 early you are able to see the true value of the stock, value investing. 

This is essentially a price driving technique(that companies uses) it elimiates stock screeners and anticipatory price fluctuations. You get the true price and elimiate price drives/spikes as less buyers and sellers associate a fixed date for trading. For example canusay wanted to sell his 185,000 shares he would find it hard ;)

This is a three fold technique which I read in Zacks...

I trully believe we have something here for the longrun but will have to wait for step 2, which is news releases...
