The Dream is OverThe dream is over. Paul Leung has decided to sell off EPT. The eCommerce site investors have waited for has not even been started. Leung claims the economy is too slow. The handwriting patent has also gone nowhere. Leung plans to sell off the ept listing as a shell company. Some of the assets such as the patent may be sold separately if possible. AIC could also be sold separately. Any monies received for ept will first go to Leung to pay off his loans. Anything left over will go to the shareholders. Ept shareholders will become shareholders in the new company. Hopefully the new company will be a real business with real business people. Under the circumstances I think this plan is the best thing. Leung has proven to be a disaster. He simply isn't competent enough to complete any project. Hotpot made some very good points and he is correct when he says Ept is dead. It was only 2 months ago at the AGM that Leung appeared excited about the future of eCommerce. This now appears to have been a charade. Leung never hired anyone to build an eCommerce website. He gave investors the distinct impression he was moving forward. It was a convincing performance. 16 years, $35 million and zero success. Thats what the self proclaimed visionary has accomplished.
