When a successful company does a reverse split, it is from a position of strength. Sure the current share holders are content with the share count. But for the stock to go up, it must attract NEW share holders. Most intelligent investors will not be attracted to a 10 cent stock with over 300 million shares. The stock needs to attract real investors, not penny stock dreamers. The real investors have the cash to make the stock go up. The penny stock guys are trading with pocket change, and they do not have the ability to move the stock price.
