i look at the forest, not just a tree. I keep rose- coloured glass far away from me ( if
someone thinks about or
looks at
something with rose-coloured glasses, they think it is
more pleasant than it
really is ).
a price move, as wirnessed in Nov/2015, was your cofirmation, big money, doesn"t think Mgmt can manouver in the Negitive AB sentiment (imho). Q4 will be intresting but Mgmt guidence will be under a micro-scope..

Bought booze yesterday for a larger get togher this weekend.
Solo got all my business. LIQ could not compet , or even get close, to the pricing i got in hard liquor, wine, and beer ( see link below). After a couple of shots or three of Vodka, your really don't care if the future shots are Grey Goose or a cheaper brand

Personally I don't think any person should look at any stock with rose colored glasses on. They should do what I try to do which is to study the Financial Reports and try to understand the Company and Management. The stock price drop in LIQ has nothing to do with Management. It is the result of the low Oil Prices and the doom and gloom outlook that faces Alberta right now. As I said many times, LIQ is better positioned to weather this storm. Perhaps even worst is the world wide stock markets crashing. The TSX has lost 20% in just January alone. So this has nothing to do with booze or our management. The Company 7 Point Plan is well known. Solo also has been in the liquor business in Alberta for a long time now and yet they are not stealing away customers from LIQ. That can be proved by the 3Q Report of LIQ where sales are up. If Solo is so great in your books what proof do you have to show the Solo Sales are up? It is interesting to note why New Jersey only allows 2 Liquor Licenses per company. It is because they want to keep the big Box Stores, like Solo, Costco, and Wall-Mart out of the liquor business there. The reasoning behind this is because they have discovered that Private Liquor Stores hire 1.4 people more than big Box Companies, and also pay them a higher wage. So overall Private is better for the economy. But the next time you decide to have a big party or event requiring a lot of alcohol, which requires a Permit, perhaps look into LIQ as they also have a wholesale division in which they sell alcohol cheaper and at wholesale prices.
