When you have 1 house, dumping millions of shares of a thinly traded company, it is going to severely affect the price. Until the Jan news, it was common to have less than 100k shares traded in a day.  I think it is a fund that faced large redemptions at year end or they could just be rebalancing or it could be someone who participated in a PP and needs $ now.

If you compare the 6 month house trades to the Jan to date house trades if becomes very apparent.that someone through Scotia is using this increased interest in VLE to unload a massive amount of shares compared to all other houses.  I think the stock would have been a $1.00+  without Scotia offloading about 4.3mm shares of the about 7.8mm shares sold this month.  Even more striking, of the about 4.5mm shares Scotia sold in the past 6 months, 4.3mm of those shares were sold this month.
