3. the homeowner (Elon Musk) just bought more property (i.e. he recently exersize do options and owns even more of his house/firm) clearly signalling his belief that the future is very bright for the neighbourhood! 

And one one final thought, imagine investing $5 billion and knowing that if you invested a mere $60 million more ($15 million to buy ALP outright and $45 million to bring the graphite to market) you would be vertically integrated in the most important silo of your operation - and have a competitive advantage for the next 25 years?

I am puzzled why such an announcement has not occurred yet. Hopefully, it's imminent.
