RE:RE:Ian Rozier Steps Down
https://www.bdlive.co.za/business/mining/2016/02/01/sibanye-pushes-for-third-platinum-deal This might shed some light or at a minimum some good speculation. a few interesting quotes from today's Sibanye article linked above. ""and soon we will announce the CEO for our platinum division." The announcement was likely to be around the Mining Indaba in Cape Town next week, he said." Could it be Rozier ??? "The Rustenburg and contiguous Aquarius assets on the western limb of the Bushveld complex would form the base for Sibanyes growth in platinum, Mr Froneman said." Could their future targets include Eastplats ??? Might be what Eastplats shareholders need to add some fuel to the fire on the Hebei deal. This article also references +/- 1.5 years (worst case) to get all proper approvals for one of their deals. "the Rustenburg transaction, which needs competition and Department of Mineral Resources approval, and is expected to be in place by the middle of next year at the latest". Here's hoping we are close to the DMR's decision on Eastplats so they can press forward...
