RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:meg will do ok today - just watch if you are short MEG then you have made money just as I have on the short side but there are many reasons oil will go up, the least of which is that shale oil is in trouble and even though they ares till drilling up the sweet spots that won't last forever and they definitely can't cover costs idrilling in regular shale deposits oil or gas, so supply will drop it's just a question of when.

as we are finding out all oil companies are in a world of hurt and tyhe majors will survive and so will their dividends for another year befroe they need to take drastis measures.

Nigeria is already asking for money (emergency loans) to voer their budget deficit, and others will follow.

like I said MEG will trade with oil prices and it can go lower for sure, I'm not contesting that but it can also go up with good news, it's not as desperate as you are suggesting, they have lots of cash and availabel credit and great assets.

longer term they will survive and prosper, I have lots of time left on my shorts, so pay me now otr or pay me later,
