RE:RE:bteTakeover price at such oil distress times won't be attractive.... Take SU takeover of COS as an example, SU took a period when COS's SP is at its inception lowest and then gave about 45% premium on top of it as the offer price.... It is not like they value the company at WTI long term price of 60 US$ and then basing on the asset value make an offer price... If BTE's takeover price is to mimick what SU had offered to BTE offering 45% premium over a 30 days period with lowest BT SP (just 1.57 $), then it will be peanut....probably a few dollars rather than $10-12.
