Because of too much corruption in Kenyan courts where justice is sold for cash, I was forced to file my Cortec Mining case in Washington DC in June last year at a high cost of £5.8m (sh900m). GoK has also been forced to pay huge fees which they paid on 14/1/2016 in this matter for the case to start. This dispute arose out of bribery demand by Najib Balala from my firm which I declined to give. The case against Kenya gov't is beginning this week on 5th Feb. 2016. It is worth the fight given the high corruption levels in our Kenyan courts where litigation is very expensive. If I lose my case in Washington DC, I will genuinely accept it. Sadly, Justice is fairly dispensed in U.S courts compared to our Kenyan ones. If I win this case, Kenya through World Bank will pay my firm sh204 billion. This is how expensive corruption is in Jubilee gov't. The fight continues!!!
