If the other majors weren't interested in providing further funding via private placement, they would simply need to turn to the market and at these low prices I guarantee there would be more than enough demand.  They haven't had to go to the open market because the majors, including the ones we aren't privy to, want to retain their foothold on float.  In my opinion, funding has never and will never be an issue.

I'll say again, it might not appear that there is demand at these prices but it's only because you can't get a meaningful number of shares without buying at substantially higher prices.  If you were offered a massive chunk at this level, would you take it?  I know I would. Until that happens, us little guys are stuck fighting for crumbs while the big boys get the full slice thrown their way.  

Anyone that doesn't believe me, try getting a piece of the next private placement and let me know how you make out.  I'll be in line waiting.
