RE:RockGoing forward airlines have made their orders with Airbus and Boeing in the single aisle category for some ridiculous prices. The order books are full and will take 5 to 10 years for any orders put in now for the neo and max. Most airlines won't have choice but to order with a third or fourth player. This is why United will announce an order soon. They need it to grow. Anyone who doubts that they can't sell 2000+ planes in the next 15 years really doesn't understand the airline business. Passengers keep going up every year. Bombardier and Embraer will do well. Mitsubishi and comac will struggle. This why the Chinese could only dream of buying a company like BBD. Developing a clean slate aircraft of this quality is a major thing. In general the market is short sighted.
