Wekerle and GoodmanSo many people wondering "how could this happen?" with investors like Wekerle and Goodman, and how could "they" let this happen?, implying the commissions or the exchange could stop it whatever the alleged crime of the day happens to be...how could "the management" just break "the rules" like this and nothing happen to them?
I can't speak directly for them, but I have a pretty good idea that Ned and Mike have lost more money on better deals than this. Do they care? sure they do. But they've moved on. Whether they've sold or not, they've moved on. Too many people viewed their investments as a huge endorsement, instead of a casual gamble or favour for a friend. Something may come of it someday, and they can affor do forget about until then.
How long have people been clinging, hoping, praying, excusing the (mis)management of the company and its assets? What about when the exchange stepped in and made them restated a bunch of disclosure? What about when the Ontario Securities Commission did something similar?
Ahhh, not important. Now, it's "WHERE WERE THEY?"
