RE:Husky Stock Will start Rising Today after Job Cuts!

RE:Husky Stock Will start Rising Today after Job Cuts!Since I am long some HSE, I'd love to agree with ya. Really. But putting on rose colored glasses isn't a solution.

Even if OIL starts to go back up, and it's not, oil companies will continue to drop. Once the price of oil went beneath the point where oils can make money, then it's all downhill.

As long as oil stays beneath, say, $45 US, then HSE will continue to slide. All the way, if you know what I mean. Not just HSE, but IMO, SU, TOG, GTE, CNE you freaking name it.

It will turn tide only after there's been a rash of oils going out of business. The bigger companies will be last to go, if they are all going. I'd say this is where the money will stay till last.

Those companies that can shut in production and stick it out till the blood runs down Main St. will be the investment sweet spots of tomorrow. But that's a long way off, and I don't mean on the calendar. It's a long ways off on the list of bankruptcies.
