Gold Hill-Blackjack gold property in Northwestern OntarioAnthony Jackson's Intact Gold Corp. (ITG), up 4.5 cents to 34.5 cents on 83,000 shares, is acquiring the Gold Hill-Blackjack gold property in Northwestern Ontario from King Bay Gold Corp. Mr. Jackson, president and CEO, says Intact is excited to acquire a historical "high-grade past producer" such as Gold Hill-Blackjack. He has the high-grade part right, as the old Gold Hill mine averaged an eye-popping 4.95 ounces per ton and Blackjack averaged 0.33 ounce per tonne. He also has the historical part down pat -- the mines ran in the late 1800s -- but the "production" was limited at best.
