RE:Looking at the short seller volumes

RE:Looking at the short seller volumes
PROtrading wrote: Very interesting stock!

When I find a stock that comes up on my radar on the TA side of the house, I start looking at what pro traders are doing.  Specifically, the short sellers.

Short sellers on TCK both in the US have been very active and continue to be very active.

- 64% of the volume in the US are short sellers on Friday. So shorting is far from over and there are no sign of short covering, yet! This is a key metric to track.

- Last report is 20% of the US float is shorted with 11 days to cover.  In Canada, short ratio is just 2% down from a high of 4% in November 2015. Shorting attack on Teck is on the US side.

- Stock has not been reported in BATS having naked short sellers so all short sellers are committed to buy TCK.

I'm very surprised that since it's running at 82% above 52 week low, US short sellers still remains strong on TCK?

The action on this stock this coming week shall be very interesting especially as the gains on copper and crude futures solidify.

Copper is being itself shorted at large. Don't remember Friday rally was due to scared shorts buying. THIS IS NOT normal buying. Should be huge concern. Huge chances of manipulation. Carefull buying or shorting. Big sharks in stocks like tck will eat shorts and bulls.
