As Predicted

As PredictedThe company makes an announcement and the pumpers hit the bullboard making all kinds of positive posts. One guy calls for a $.15 close the day of the news. (insert buzzer sound) Another claims that GLK will lead the Venture out of the wildness. (insert moans here)

All they wanted is for a few buyers to show up, drive the price up into their asks and then sell.

Mission accomplished and here you are right back where you started. Only this time you have shares worth $.12 to $.13 in your portfolio and the pumpers have your money in their accounts which they will now move elsewhere to use and ply their trade with the next stock.

Lesson learned? I hope so!
