La Cigarra - drill targetsMany are drill ready while others need further work to become drill ready.
La Cigarra`s 63 million 43-101 silver oz resource is housed in San Gregorio and Las Carolinas.
Targets:
1) Ram Zone - 3.8 km
A 3.8 km target. It could be one of the (loaded) feeder zones that supplied the ounces to San Gregorio and Las Carolinas, and elsewhere on the property. Thus far, none of the feeder zones have been found on the property.
2) Nogalera Zone - 1 km
Potential for high grade silver and lead with solid support of gold and zinc - about 1 km long. There are also likely pockets of (rich) minerals condensed and trapped below/between rocks - which orginally flowed through the faulted quartz rocks and deposited in pockets. Artisanal miners processed rocks from the adit in the past, using primitive means. Northair sampled the dump rocks and found high grade results, like 179 g/t silver, 10.85 g/t gold, 7.78% lead and 1.32% zinc. It means at least parts of the veins within the adit (close to surface area) are likely very rich.
3) La Colorada Zone - 1.4 km by 400m
Gold and silver potential. Gold anomaly measures 1.4 km long by 400m wide.
4) La Borracha Zone - 1.1 km
All 11 holes drilled in the past intercepted silver. High potential to provide a deposit. The key areas within the structure are yet to be drilled - important contact horizon remains untested.
5) La Navidad Zone - roughly 600m
Strong silver in soil anomaly, may be structurally connected to San Gregorio/Las Carolinas.
6) La Colorada North Zone - 1 km
Positive silver showings in outcrop rocks at surface.
7) La Soledad Zone - 1.5 km
Strong magnetic readings. The deposit is likely buried under a good size overburden top layer. There is a past artisanal adit at La Soledad. It means the historical artisanal miners found processing ore. Northair found a dump rock (likely processed) with 277 g/t silver and also identified channnel material of 85 g/t silver over 2.1m.
8) Las Carolinas Southeast
The last drill results shows the deposit still strong in this direction. Also, the new mag results shows an intrusive in the area, with the contact zone in the middle of this area.
9) Canyon Zone - 500m
Sample (maybe trenching or channel) shows 8m of 96.3 g/t silver.
10) Instrusive just east of Las Venadas
This instrusive showed up on the 2015 airplane geo survey - strong readings. Sometimes deposits show up within the intrusive, but often they are found around the contract zone (just outside of the intrusive rock). Las Venadas (to the west) shows very good silver sampling at the surface. But, the real deposit could be sitting east, around the contact zone of this intrusive body.
11) Skarn potential
Potential for various skarn deposits in an area of 3 km along a fault structure next to Nogalera and to the left of Ram Zone. Skarn deposits can be small or big, but quite often tends to carry high grade areas.
12) Postulated 5 km intrusive located further south
Based on the 2015 geophysical survey work. Potential targets on the NE flank of the intrusive centre. This area is just 7 km away from the 2 big mines further south.
