CLAIM FILED AGAINST SANDVINE
Waterloo, Canada; February 18, 2016 – Sandvine Corporation, (TSX:SVC) a leading provider of intelligent network policy control solutions for fixed and mobile operators, today announced that a patent infringement claim against Sandvine Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary Sandvine Incorporated ULC was filed on February 17, 2016 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas by Packet Intelligence LLC (PIL). Damages have not been specified.
Sandvine is not aware of PIL creating products of any kind and its sole business appears to be the enforcement of patent rights. Sandvine did not receive any prior notice of this claim and has yet to receive any communication from PIL.
