Dalradian just put out another set of excellent drill results this morning, including multiple high-grade intersections at its high-grade Curraghinalt gold project in Northern Ireland.
-
Several of these were narrow, less than a meter, but high enough in grade to look economic, even taking mining dilution into account.
-
Others were thick, high-grade, and obvious pluses.
-
The most important thing is the continuity of the veins, which can be expected to “pinch and swell” but need to be there where the model says they should be, which is what we see in these results.
-
That means that this infill drill program is going well, and should upgrade a large portion of the company’s Inferred resource to the Indicated category, which is necessary for then moving on to a full feasibility study.
-
That some of the dots are connecting well enough to add four new veins to the model is good news too, and should add to the tally of ounces in the ground.
-
In short, this high-grade gold speculation remains on track.
