Your checking might have missed a thing or two. M. Lamoureaux used to be the head honcho at the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan. While in that post he was a strong and vocal advocate for BoD and corporate governance reform and an advocate for shareholder rights. There are numerous examples of times when he when against the BoDs of major corporations. Here's just the first one I found in using a google search.
