RE:Isn't The Sky Falling?

RE:Isn't The Sky Falling? The situation with EOM is absolutely different.  The resources they're currently working with reside outside of the "Park" boundries for the most part.

I use the reference "Park" rather than Paramo because of the half @ssed way that Colombia went about defining Paramo.  Rather than completing an extensive study at a scale that would produce accurate results, they cut corners and put up a fence capturing a much larger area in their boundries than was necessary, including a whack of land that does not actually meet the defiinition of Paramo.  This is evidenced by the detailed study commissioned by EOM.  Even though their study proved that Paramo was not present on their land, they lost a big chunk to the park boundires and the bogusly defined Colombian Paramo that the government thought would satisfy environmentalists while giving them some wiggle room to make exceptions for certain mining projects.

If anything, I see this court ruling as a positive for EOM. It specifies that no mining is permitted in Paramo, not the stupid national park boundries.  If anything, this has produced significant grounds to challenge the park boundries with our already completed studies and take the rest of our land back.

On the issue of GLW, I'm still perplexed by the NR and don't believe for one minute that this is the end of Vetas. After all of the legal and illegal mining that's gone on there, much like EOM's land, it is highly unlikely that Paramo is actually present there either.  Maybe its nothing but I also couldn't help but notice that every single reference to Paramo in the NR was made in italics.  As if draw attention to that specific reference over and over.

It this was the be all end all, CBJ right next door under the control of Red Eagle would be saying something as well, yet nothing is being said on their side of the fence. In my opinion this news release appears to be entirely strategic on GLWs part.  The halt itself should not have taken that long either for such a simple news release.  Again, strategic in my opinion.  Whether for good or for bad, I believe the intention here was to garner attention and attention is what they've received.

That news release did not spell out the end of days with absolution.  What it did do is cause a mega $hit ton of shares to change hands though.
