I now see the error in my thinking.

Anyone who was at all impressed with this PR will not buy on the open market. Then can, of course, buy into the PP at 3 cents. So I just sold my 34K at 2.5 cents. My loss was about $200, but worth it for the lesson learned.

So all the PR can achieve, and it may not, is that the PP may get filled, at least partially, allowing the company to limp along a little longer.
