RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I really, really hope I am wrong....I hear what you're saying Prop and hope you're wrong. I think UR is a little different for a few reasons:
1. They've shown us in the past that they are not IR saavy. I truly do not think they give one thought to what the timing of their release means.
2. These guys do business all over the world and they are down 1 senior executive. Wade and Jeff Rath (arguably their two key guys when it comes to releasing results) could also be halfway around the world working on a deal. On past calls I remember them all being in 4 different places. Maybe their schedules just didn't fit their normal release and conference call timeline.
3. They indicated they want to give more guidance on March 30. Somebody already stated this is a good thing. Being the first time they're going to be giving some sort of guidance, delaying until March 30 only means their guidance has a greater chance of being accurate. A conservative move for a conservative management group.
4. Last year they released news on Mar 23rd. Should 1 week really make us think the company is failing?
5. All signs that have previously been pointed out - low rate financing, healthy backlog, Wade buying 150,000 shares, DGI playing catch-up to UR (re: constellation) etc... mean more to me than a March 30th release date.
Like Night said, i hope we don't throw this one around too much more between now and March 30. It's worth the discussion, but not sure it should be what sways anybody's expectations.
At this point, I've become a little numb to UR. I'm hoping that changes in 4 weeks - it won't before that.
I'm still all in for the long term at this point.
