Welcome bullish!  And I echo your comments.  The fiber optic boom is a huge investment theme and right now there are not a lot of ways to play it with regards to Canadian listed companies other than LTE, DUG and some others.  The cool part is that this boom is just in the beginning of the upgrade cycle.  Everyone wants fiber beyond the major cities that you have cited - so lots of potential business for all.
