It transports and sells thermal oil (AWB) to customers throughout North America and internationally. The Company owns a 100% interest in over 410 square miles of mineral leases in the southern Athabasca oil region of Alberta, Canada and is primarily engaged in sustainable in situ thermal oil production at its Christina Lake Project. Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project, located 150 kilometers south of Fort McMurray in northeast Alberta. It comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases.

RE:RE:shamboner, you are an idiot....LOLNo one knows what anyone has owned or owns today no matter what people post in the internet. 3/4 of those supposed positions I have never owned at said prices, lambs is psychopathic loser. This is not contest, and we should be here sharing information and ideas. Take everything with a grain of salt. Imperial needs to grow production to stay competitive with suncor and why not buy assets cheaper than building new sagd operations. Meg wants to save face and get a better deal for shareholders and we know they are hungry to sell assets to lower debt. The market also knows shareholders of downtrodden companies will take a reasonable offer on the table. Imperial us holding all the cards and Meg needs a deal. But yes there are no guarantees in the stock markets theses days. Oil has bottomed because the powers know they can't ket it crash without crashing works economies. This is the time to buy quality assets fir good long term prices. Dyodd
