Please stop freaking out with Hillary and pharma regulation.

Please stop freaking out with Hillary and pharma regulation.Short term it might be another local storm, but long term it can only be a good thing.

I think Hillary's right on that issue. And I don't mind an index plunge. Excessive pricing has gone way too far. And besides, as a low cost producer, a lower price environment is one where PLI will especially shines. Me think.

Pierre Laurin has been militating for years for drug affordability. And that's one of the reasons I'm a proud and supportive shareholder of ProMetic.

And it might not be foreign to the fact that he lost his two children to orphan diseases...

There's only one thing worst then your child dying because of an orphan disease for which there is no cure, it is for it to die from an orphan disease that now has a cure that you aren't able to afford and that your insurrance won't cover because it's too expensive. On top of the suffering from the child loss, and powerlessnes that comes with it, it cultivates a feeling of revolt against the greed of the mighty. And I don't think we're better off with that as a society. Historically it leads to fascism.
And we've been witnessing a come back of that in recent years haven't we ?

What are those pharmas waiting anyway, that they get sued for 3rd degree murder of those patients by consummer association ?

Because we're talking of 320k$/year drugs that the insurrance refuses to cover. We're not talking about 4K$ or 10K$ or even 60k$ a year here...

Blahhh... :-(
