Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Where I take exception with you and Halcro and Pigbrainmcvain is your complete inability to except that BGM is no longer the BGM of yesteryear.
There is a new focus and that focus is first and foremost to go through and verify or throw out old data. So far this is coming along quite nicely. I don't believe that any one thinks that there is currently an enormous viable mine but I do believe that there is a way to make currnet operations viable with the right people. You can't argue the current grades but you can argue the travel time to mill. You can argue the past ineptitude in blasting the pit...too much dynamite indeed... more like inability to perform. We can both agree that the property has not be well explored but you fail to grasp that current mgmt plan and are doing just that.
The current rise in price is 2 fold from my opinion. Money is absolutely one of them. 2 major investors believe that there is gold in the hllls and plenty of it. I agree with them and now it needs to be fleshed out. BGM is also cashed up pretty nicely... in yesterdays market that is a huge accomplishment. I believe that gold is on an upswing and that money will loosen up considearably making this a very good investment with less risk than many other juniors exploration/producers and there will be revenues generated internally as well.  But there is and always will be risk but also opportunity.
Results are the other factor... recent drilling has proven up resources and expanded resources. You can argue it but most will not argue it and I am in the wil not argue it camp. There is still a huge spotlight shining on this operation and no none is going to blow smoke up anyones butt.
A third factor is that BGM was scorned by most and still by many for past transgressions... I am/was included in the scorn. This devalued the outfit greatly and some of that value is now back in the SP.  Remember...it is a huge tract of land with proven producing mines of old. There are still cart loads of gold that old technology could not find or reach.
Here is the rub... I support BGM and I believe there is ample opportunity but I have also been very critical and am glad old mgmt is off chasing lifestyle. For you however there has been a singular track mindset. There is a HUGE difference between having an opinion and being opinionated. You and Halcro and Pigguy couldn't see light if you tried. Your blinders are on and headlamps are dim. If someone on the property handed you a gold nugget you would wonder where they bought it.
If you really want to contribute...look at things from all angles....good and bad. That is a disussion. You are negative at all times because you are not opinioned....you are opinionated and are not budging.... so be it.
This has all been my opinion.... provide me facts to the contrary so that I may be proven wrong. I am open to humble pie and all sides of the story.
